Barnetts Brother Alleges Foul Play

Boeing Whistleblower John Barnett Dead

Barnett's Brother Alleges Foul Play

Quality Manager Publicly Criticized Boeing

John Barnett, a former quality manager at Boeing who had publicly criticized the company, has been found dead. His brother, Michael Barnett, alleges foul play and is calling for an investigation.

According to the Charleston County coroner, Barnett died from a self-inflicted wound on March 9. Police are investigating the circumstances of his death.

Barnett had been a long-time Boeing employee and had most recently worked as a quality manager. He had filed a whistleblower lawsuit against Boeing, alleging that the company had ignored safety concerns and put profits ahead of public safety.

Barnett's death comes at a time when Boeing is facing intense scrutiny over its 737 Max aircraft. The plane has been involved in two fatal crashes, killing 346 people. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the crashes, but some have suggested that Boeing's design and production processes may have played a role.

In the wake of the crashes, Barnett had become a vocal critic of Boeing. He had testified before Congress and had given numerous interviews to the media, calling for the company to be held accountable for its actions.

Barnett's death is a tragedy. He was a man who was willing to speak out against wrongdoing, even when it put his own life at risk. His death raises serious questions about Boeing's safety practices and the culture of the company.
